Class action suit for the amount of NIS 90 million was dismissed at the court’s recommendation

A class action suit filed against Pango claimed the it violated the privacy of all car owners in Israel (except for Pango subscribers), since the company enables subscribers of the “fast parking lot service” to add to their bill another car which they do not own, and this allegedly without the other car owner’s knowledge and without receiving his/her consent. The compensation requested for the class action suit group as NIS 90 million, and as part of deliberations in the case the court accepted our position in full and recommended that the claimant withdraw the suit, which is what happened.
